Shark Point, (Hin Muang), thai name. There is 3 pinnacles, you usually only do 2 pinnacles that runs from north to south. To protect shark point the Thai Goverment decided in 1992 to make this a marine sanctuary, this prohibits any form of fishing.
Shark Point is full of multi coloured soft corals, as well as lots of table corals here you will see leopard sharks lying on the seabed you can get close, but be very slow, if too fast you will scare the shark away.Also theres a turtle that frequents the dive site, as well as cuttlefish and all of the reef fish that live in the andaman sea |
