For the most convenient scuba diving around Phuket, Similan Islands and Burma (Mergui), liveaboards are the way to go. Fairly large boats (25-33 meters) with living arrangements so that divers may travel and enjoy more than one diving destination, liveaboard excursions are the best in Thailand diving.
